J. Michael TraylorState of Admission: Mississippi Education: Michael completed his preparatory education at Belhaven University (B.S., Business Administration, With Honors, 2005) and his legal education at Mississippi College School of Law (J.D., 2010). While in law school, Michael was a member of the Moot Court Board, President of the student chapter of the Christian Legal Society, and he served as an extern with the Mississippi Workers' Compensation Commission. Legal Experience: Prior to law school, Michael worked as a claims specialist for Mississippi's largest workers' compensation insurance company. In this position he obtained extensive training and experience in all aspects of the claims handling process as well as in efficient claim resolution. Awards/Professional Recognition: Michael is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association (2010), and he is licensed to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He is also a current member of the American Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association, and the Christian Legal Society. Family: Michael lives in Madison, MS, with his wife Angela Dickson Traylor and their two sons, J.D. and Drew. He is an actively involved member of LifeBridge Church in Madison, MS. |
