Freeland Shull Drafts Benevolent Trust for Foreign Mission
November 25, 2009

Hale Freeland drafted a Trust agreement funded by the Colorado Estate of missionary Leta Arnold to support College D'état, Ebolowa, Cameroon, West Africa. The Trust is administered by trustees in Cameroon as well as St. Andrew’s Presbytery located in north Mississippi. The Trust proceeds will be used to provide for the physical needs of the students and school, including the construction of student desks and tables and other facilities in Cameroon. Hale drafted the Trust documents to help ensure the intent of the gift is carried out through the administration and oversight of trustees from both continents, with limited administrative costs.  The Trust is primarily overseen by Rev. Joseph Etua, now of Louisville, MS, formerly of Cameroon, and Rev. Greg Goodwiller, Executive Presbyter, St Andrew’s Presbytery.
